At Calvary Tuscaloosa, our Women's Ministry is grounded in the Word of God. In 2026, we’re inviting you to join us on a transformative journey through the entire Bible. 

Have you ever found yourself wondering about what you just read? The Bible Recap, a tool by Tara Leigh Cobble, is here to help! Each day, you’ll read a few chapters chronologically and gain deeper insights through daily commentary that you can listen to, watch, or read, and you don't need any special Bible (use the one you already have!).

Together as a church, we’ll grow in understanding, encounter God, and experience life-changing transformation through His Word. Join us and make this the year you truly read, understand, and love the Bible!

WHAT IS BIBLE RECAP?


HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

Read your Bible every day.

You don’t need a special Bible for this plan—any popular version (NIV, KJV, ESV, etc.) will work. Your personal Bible is all you need! The program uses the ESV Version. Daily readings take about 10-15 minutes, and you can follow along using the app (preferred) or a printed plan.

Start reading on January 1. If you are "late to the game" or want to start at any point in the year, just pick up where we are in the study and join us for the monthly celebrations! The goal of this year is to spend more time with the Lord in the Bible and to gain deeper community together. Whether you start in January, March or October you are welcome!

Watch, listen or read.

It's your choice! Each day, you can either watch Tara Leigh Cobble's commentary on YouTube, listen to a 7-10 minute podcast available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Podbean, or choose to read the companion book instead. These resources are designed to enhance your daily Bible reading and deepen your understanding.
